I am an office staff member The dentist(s) who owns the office can set you up so you can sign in to the CDA website and manage the office information related to CDAnet and electronic claims, including adding dentists to the office and downloading the CDA Digital ID for dentists (with their permission).
Letter from CDA not received With the exception of some dentists in Ontario, CDA sent letters to all dentists about the new Practice Support Services website. Because Ontario has so many dentists, the letters are being sent in batches—this will be complete by mid-July. Sometimes the address CDA has is not current. The other necessary information is the dentist's unique Express Code. Please contact CDA to retrieve an Express Code.

The Practice Support Services website provides self-serve access for dentists and their office staff to manage CDA services such as CDAnet, ITRANS, eReferral and the CDA Digital ID. The first step for dentists is to sign in and be validated – CDA needs to make sure it is the dentist who uses his or her username and password. Once the dentist is signed in, the dentist can invite office staff to the office account and give them permission to manage the office information.
Part of the validation process is the provision of an email address that is validated. Dentists should provide an email address that they personally check. Even is administration is delegated to office staff, the dentist will be updated by email when a CDA Digital ID is downloaded or a new dentist is invited to the office.
The ITRANS digital certificate for one of our dentists expired, what do we do? The ITRANS digital certificate needs to be replaced with a CDA Digital ID for the dentist. Following are the steps to get a CDA Digital ID working:
What if more than one dentist needs the CDA Digital ID? For multiple dentists, you need secure codes for each dentist. With these, you can install the digital IDs one after another. To get secure codes for each dentist, there are two approaches. Either each dentist signs in separately and retrieves their secure code, or each dentist signs in and gives the office owner or administrator permission to download their CDA Digital ID. With those permissions, then the owner dentist or office administrator can retrieve secure codes for all the dentists.
How do I know an ITRANS certificate is expired? The ITRANS digital certificates are valid for two years. Thirty days before an ITRANS digital certificate expires, ITRANS sends an email to the address provided notifying that the certificate is about to expire. If the certificate expires, then when the office tries to send a claim, an error message will be received.
